Bitwise Playground is designed to work without collecting information from you. The app does not collect, store, share, sell, rent, or transmit personal data or usage data.

Bitwise Playground collects no data at all.
The app does not use analytics, advertising SDKs, tracking technologies, user accounts, remote servers, or third-party services that collect information from you.
Bitwise Playground has no login and no account system. It does not require network access. Everything runs on your device, and your lesson progress stays there too.
About Bitwise Playground
Bitwise Playground turns AND, OR, XOR, NOT, and bit shifts into something you can see and touch. You can move a slider and watch every bit flip in real time in binary, hex, and decimal.
The app includes more than 70 interactive lessons grouped into five tracks:
- Basics: binary, boolean algebra, operators, and core bit techniques
- Practical Uses: hashing, encoding, random numbers, flags, colors, and networking
- Advanced Uses: text processing, graphics and games, error detection, compression, state machines, and SIMD
- Efficient Bitwise: classic bit-hack recipes for fast checks and compact math
- Bitwise In Math: Egyptian multiplication, fast inverse square root, GCD, sets, and more
Each lesson pairs a hands-on playground with the exact Swift expression behind it. You can mark lessons finished as you go and track your progress across each track.
Data Collection
Bitwise Playground does not collect any personal information, including:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Location
- Contacts
- Photos
- Files
- Device identifiers
- Advertising identifiers
- Usage history
- Crash reports
- Diagnostics
- Analytics events
The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide contact details.
Local Data
Bitwise Playground may store your lesson progress on your device so you can see which lessons you have finished.
That progress remains on your device and is not sent to the developer or to any server controlled by the developer.
If you delete the app, any app data stored locally by the operating system may be removed according to your device’s normal app deletion behavior.
Network Activity
Bitwise Playground does not require network access.
The app does not send app usage data, personal data, progress data, analytics data, or diagnostic data over the network.
The app does not connect to developer-operated servers for tracking, profiling, advertising, analytics, account management, or syncing.
Analytics and Tracking
Bitwise Playground does not use analytics tools, tracking SDKs, advertising networks, cookies, fingerprinting, or similar technologies.
The developer does not track how you use the app.
Third-Party Services
Bitwise Playground does not integrate third-party services that collect data from users.
If you choose to share content using operating system features, such as a share sheet or another installed app, that action is handled by the operating system or the app you choose. Their privacy practices are separate from Bitwise Playground.
Data Sharing
Bitwise Playground shares no data with the developer or with third parties.
Because Bitwise Playground does not collect data, there is no user data to sell, rent, disclose, or transfer.
Children’s Privacy
Bitwise Playground does not knowingly collect data from children or from any other users.
Because the app collects no data, it does not build profiles, track behavior, or store information about children.
Data Retention
Bitwise Playground does not retain user data on developer-controlled systems because it does not collect any user data.
Any lesson progress that remains on your device is controlled by your device and operating system.
